Nestled within the walls of the Berwick-upon-Tweed's historic ramparts, built by Elizabeth I to defend against the invading Scots, the hotel is only a minutes stroll away from the hustle and bustle of the charming high street, beaches and local attractions.
The hotel offers five guest bedrooms, ranging from single to twin, triple and family room, and is ideally located for both business and leisure travellers to Berwick. The hotel is situated close to many local places of interest including the spectacular holy island of Lindisfarne, Alnwick Castle where the Harry Potter films were made, and Bamburgh Castle, ancient seat of the Northumbrian Kings.
All the guest rooms at The Cobbled Yard Hotel have en-suite facilities including a shower, wash hand basin and a toilet. They also include a colour TV with Freeview, a complimentary selection of hot beverages and snacks, a trouser press, a hairdryer, ironing facilities, plus a tourist information pack.
